Working remotely
Not in Hong Kong? Here is exactly how it works.
Most of this work is diagnosis, analysis and building systems. None of that needs me in your office every week, and remote work keeps the cost down. Here is what to expect before you ask.
Time zones
Hong Kong time is the same as Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, an hour ahead of Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, and two to three hours behind Sydney depending on the season. For all of those, your working day is mine. Auckland’s afternoon is my morning.
How we stay in touch
A short written update every week: what was done, what was found, what I need from you. A call at each milestone, and whenever a decision needs a conversation. WhatsApp for anything quick, which I answer myself.
When I travel
When a visit genuinely changes the outcome — a workshop, a site, a go-live — I come. It is agreed and priced in the scope, never a surprise on an invoice.
Language
Work is delivered in English. Where your team mostly works in another language, we agree up front how documents and training will be handled.
Your data
I work inside your systems wherever possible rather than copying data out. Access is granted by you, limited to what the job needs, and removed at the end. Your material is not used to train any AI model. I am happy to sign your NDA.
Contract and payment
One written scope with a fixed fee, contracted from Hong Kong. Fees are paid in advance, stage by stage for larger work. Bank transfer, FPS, or card through Stripe. Quoted in Hong Kong dollars; another currency by agreement.
What I need from you
One person on your side who can make decisions, access to the systems and figures involved, and about an hour a week from the people closest to the problem.
When it ends
You keep the deliverables, the documentation and admin access to your own systems. A handover session makes sure it runs without me. Ongoing help is available, never a condition.
What you are not risking
Defined before it starts. Yours when it ends.
A price before any work
Scope, deliverables and a fixed fee agreed in writing first. If the job turns out different, we stop and re-scope. The bill does not run.
Small first, then decide
Larger work runs in stages, each scoped and paid before it begins, so you can stop after any stage. AI work starts as a pilot with a success measure agreed up front.
Your data, your accounts
Systems stay in your name and your admin access stays with you. Your material is not used to train anyone’s model.
A proper handover
Documentation, credentials, settings and a handover session, so it keeps running without me. Ongoing help is available, never a condition.

A boutique wellness resort in Thailand, run entirely remotely: a growth and action plan, a sales-funnel audit on the resort’s own booking data, website and chatbot compliance checks, and an AI assistant working inside the owner’s own tools.
